Head of the evaluated unit/cluster

Dear heads of the evaluated units/clusters,

The main goal of the internal evaluation is to ensure and maintain the quality of science, research, and studies at Masaryk University. Unlike the national evaluation, this evaluation will result in feedback intended directly for your institution. You will thus be able to identify long-term successful and promising research topics and assess the quality of research and doctoral degree programmes in an international context.

Your main tasks during the evaluation will be to prepare the self-evaluation report and participate in the meeting with the evaluation panel during the on-site visit.

During the evaluation preparation, you will work mainly with the secretary of the assigned evaluation panel. They will ensure communication and handover of supporting materials between the evaluated units and the evaluators. You are expected to keep individual researchers in the evaluated unit informed about the ongoing evaluation and to have the opportunity to participate in meetings with the evaluators during the on-site visit.
